Yes, it is.
However, I'd personally suggest avoiding unnecessary disassembly and reassembly just to swap the draw nut.
During the process, scratches, bumps, and overtightening of the bolts can happen, which may lead to chuck problems down the road.
Here are two suggested options:
1) Order chucks with a threaded draw nut already installed.
This saves time and avoids trouble, especially for non-professional installers. It's particularly helpful for the 6" ( DK306) model, where the spring and steel ball can easily fall out during disassembly.
For example, the DK306 is available with standard M55×2 — we can also make draw nuts in other threads like M52×1.5, M52×2, M48×1.5, M42×2, and more.
2) Stick with the standard thread and use a thread conversion screw to adapt to whatever thread your customers need.
